  Superb hospitality, attention to all our comforts and every effort to please and give a smile. Mike, you even threw in your jokes for free!
  Special thanks to you all for your care, friendship and sharing of lives, feelings and your hearts. Absolutely loved the dinner parties, movies, fascinating and often funny stories shared, the openness with which you invited us into your world, and the wonderful cooking from Landy, Mike and Mason.
  Mason, many thanks for the TaiChi lessons for embracing life and for teaching us 'oldies' some incredible insights into life.

 We've finally arrived in Auckland. Leaving a freezing cold London behind and arriving in a warm sunny Auckland made some of the doubt go away. Getting to the house and unpacking all our stuff, made even more doubt go away and we knew we had done the right thing.

We really love the B&B experience, and y'all helped keep that spirit alive. The food was fantastic, service was very friendly. The location is excellent with just the right amount of walk for a great experience ferrying into downtown. I think that we will be seeing more of you in the future after we bought our own house not far from yours!!

We landed in Auckland March 2003, knowing we have one daunting task – to get employment and to settle down as soon as possible. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Our family immigrated to Auckland from South Africa and we are so lucky to find such friendly, cozy place that could accommodate all of us, especially the kids, with all the comforts of home.

Everything was just perfect, and the special touches (refrigerator, goodies, coffee pot, coffees/teas, juices, soda, area info booklets, maps,) - you can't get that kind of comfort at a hotel. It was great! And Mike helps us in everyway he can and makes our life here so easy. It exceeded my family's expectations and everyone had such a great time.

We just want to let you know what a wonderful experience we had in Auckland. Nandida and I met my niece and her family in Auckland. Hopefully we will also immigrate to Auckland soon. It was just the right touch of Auckland. We had a wonderful time in your B&B. A very warm and personal service from the moment I walked through the front door. Mike and Landy were the friendliest of hosts and so helpful. Nothing was too difficult for them as they were doing fullest comfort for the duration of my stay. What a fantastic welcome to New Zealand.
I was met at the airport by Mike and then taken on a tour of the local area and show some highlights along the way.
The accommodation and service I received can not be faulted. The whole family are charming, warm and friendly and were more than willing to learn some gaelic phrases!
The food was terrific every meal. Mike was always willing to drive me around (within reason) if I was stuck, which was very much appreciated.
It has not been a one-way-street because my hosts have won acquired a taste for Scotch whisky!!!
All the best and hope our boats meet up in a nice bay along the way.

Sometimes life surprises us with amazing, unexpected things - these past few days have been such an experience! We certainly believed staying here would be nice before we came, but everything was so wonderful, it is hard to put into words what a special part of the trip this was. We usually seem to hurry through everything that we do and get everything done, but here we were able to truly relax and enjoy everything. You made us feel tremendously welcome, and we appreciate that so much . You have a beautiful cottage and we will do everything possible to make it back here one day! The special welcome when we arrived after a long, hard day was a delight and just what we needed for a good night's rest. Thanks for the delightful, informative morning walk and thanks to Mike for waiting for us to return for a later breakfast.
